About the event
The Bergen County Youth Group will be helping out at our temple's Shivratri event this Friday from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Besides partaking in assisting the temple during the celebrations, we will also be running our own information table to educate people about our group itself! We will have coloring activities and an informative presentation about Shiva every half hour in order to engage and educate wandering children on the Hindu culture and help them understand why Shivaratri is celebrated!
REMEMBER: You do NOT have to sign up for all four hours of the event!! You can volunteer for any amount of time during any interval within the celebration. You will get credit for however many hours you can give!
